Danielle Smith, an accomplished attorney and litigator with a broad range of legal knowledge and experience in AML/CFT compliance, securities law, public entity governance, and labor and employment litigation, has joined SyncFab, the blockchain-based manufacturing platform. As General Counsel, she will play an important role in the implementation of SyncFab’s key objectives, the growth of SyncFab’s legal team, commercial and government contract negotiations, and the development of procedures to help ensure general legal and regulatory compliance.
A graduate of Harvard Law School, Ms. Smith brings her most recent experience as an attorney and litigator to SyncFab, having litigated federal and state cases arising under the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and various state corporate codes and consumer protection laws. She also draws upon her broad range of legal experience to analyze and interpret applicable laws and regulations surrounding AML/CFT compliance, intellectual property rights, and GDPR regulations for EU citizens, among other legal matters.
“I am excited to join SyncFab and play a pivotal role in shaping its future within the legal and regulatory challenges ahead. Right now, there is important work happening behind the scenes, including the protection of SyncFab’s intellectual property with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the finalization of its corporate governance structure, as well as its efforts to keep abreast of and comply with the regulatory landscape.”
